ANNE GOULDING Obituary

ANNE GOULDING  1927 - 2014
Anne Wright Goulding of Leisure World, Silver Spring, Maryland passed away on October 30, 2014 surrounded by her children and grandchildren who benefitted greatly from Anne's unconditional love throughout her life. Anne spent her life nurturing and raising five children: Barry Goulding (Hillary), Kent Goulding (Sophia), Laura Jacoby, Nancy Swanberg (Gary) and Phil Goulding (Marsha), seven grandchildren, and one great grandson. She earned her undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve and did graduate work in Art History. Anne channeled her love for art and her creative passion into Anne Goulding Interiors, providing design services to lifelong clients, many of whom became close friends. Anne also loved playing games both socially and competitively. She was an accomplished life master at bridge, actively playing in local tournaments. Anne was an avid reader who enjoyed participating in her book club for many years. Anne was a strong believer in the eternal soul and expressed her love for God by the way she lived her life and treated those around her. The family will have a private service and encourages everyone who knew Anne to follow her loving example.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. Her children were well blessed to have such a loving and supportive mother.

Dear Ann, You had been a very dear loving friend and fellow Eckist to me close to 25 years. Thank you for your warm hospitality through the years, welcomed us to your home for the monthly Satsang studies from Bethesda then to Leisure World; thank you for your open mind and heart and inspiring stories of adventures. I was looking forward to tell you about the Worldwide Seminar, but you translated to the world beyond on the day we were suppose to meet. I still remember the gentle hug of "see you next month" you gave at your door; I will miss you dearly, but I know our friendship will go beyond.

Through the years I heard so many stories of everyone Ann loved, in our last class together, she said: I am so happy with everything around me, everything is just right where it is.
Safe and more adventuresome journey home Ann! Friend forever, Patra

You were a wonderful friend during the many years we knew each other. A talented, artistic business woman who gave of her all to her clients, many of whom became her friends. My love and sympathy goes to her children--she loved you all deeply and was so proud of each of you and your accomplishments. I'm just sorry I was not able to see more of Anne during these past years. Life somehow got in the way.
