I went to Paris last September and paused for a few moments to think about Carmen at "Esmereld's" near Notre Dame. We visited there in High School and again 35 years later. Will always connect a trip to Paris with a very fond memory of Carmen.

Carmen was a beloved coworker @ NCPC Philadelphia and DC. She, from the day we met, showed me how to be a professional in our trade. Her passing was a terrible loss for me. I loved her dearly. I ope she is at peace.

Oh Carmen. My France buddy on the high school trip. And again, my roomie on the Paris trip you invited me to join you on
after our 35th HS reunion. I'll always remember you and me at "Esmerelda's" in Paris on both trips.
Thank you for being you, for being my friend. The next time, and any time, I'm lucky enough to be in Paris, I'll drink at toast to you at Esmerelda's.
Condolences to your family. They were lucky to have you and I was certainly lucky to be your friend.

Carmen-She was a woman of grace, poise, dignity and a true friend. We first remember meeting Carmen in the 80s at OCPM when the North and South East regions were merged. She was gentile and instantly sparked a friendship and comradery. That friendship held true through moves to DC, South Hmpton Roads, children and illness. We will miss her but know she is in peace and in a higher Power's presence. The Mercers

One can see that Carmen was an exceptional woman who lived a vibrant and meaningful life. I pray that her son and grandchildren, along with her brothers and extended family and friends, find solace and peace in their time together as they celebrate her life.

Carmen was a remarkable person. She was my soror and friend and one of the most positive people I have ever known. In the midst of her illness she uplifted me! Dear God, let this child of yours rest in peace in heaven. Take care of her family as they grieve her passing. Amen.

Sending LOVE to Carmen's family.....remembering the many moments of sharing our lives....growing up together along with Theresa Manning in H.S., the days at Howard U., early married and motherhood days, single mothering, and eventually grandparenting. Blessed rest, Dear One.
