After many years had passed I thought of Joseph Schubert today, and was saddened to see he had passed away. I knew him during my years as an acolyte at St. Columba's parish where he was an inspirational priest whose enthusiasm and empathy touched many lives. His legacy is the change he wrought in so many of the souls he inspired.
