MARY WILLS Obituary


MARY ELIZABETH SALES WILLS  
Passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was 80 years old and died in Washington Hospital Center following a sudden illness. Mary lived in Washington, DC all of her life. She retired from the State Department (AID) in 1992. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney M. Sales and Frances Sales, her brother, John A. Sales, Sr. and her former husband, Aaron Tiberious Wills. She leaves two sons, Aaron Tyrone Wills and Darryl Sidney Wills; one daughter, Frances LaShawn Wills; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Turner Wills and Barbara Allen; one nephew, John A. Sales, Jr.; two nieces, Christy Nicole Sales Dawkins and Joanna Ruth Wills; many cousins, including Virginia Maxine Rayford, Doris Curtis Barney, Patricia Sales Hopkins, Voncille Sales Manning and Regina Sales Deadwyler; many friends and family members. Funeral services to be provided by Hackett's Funeral Chapel, 814 Upshur Street, NW, Washington DC. Interment to take place at Glenwood Cemetery. The family suggests that donations be made to the National Stroke Association in tribute to Mary E. Wills.
