ANNE WHITTLE Obituary
ANNE HALL WHITTLE (Age 64)
On Friday, August 4, 2017, Anne passed away peacefully at home in Alexandria. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rob; two daughters, Lucy Goldstein (Jeremy) and Lindsay Comstock (Ethan); and a granddaughter, Jane. She is also survived by two sisters, Tina Baugher and Cathy Stopher. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The immediate family, as well as the extended family depended on her as confidante, friend and comforting presence. Anne founded Candy Point Collection, counting hundreds of women who were fans of her designs.Service and reception will be held at noon on Monday, August 14, at the Episcopal High School chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to ACT for Alexandria, 1421 Prince St, Suite 220, Alexandria, VA 22314 (actforalexandria.org). I just learned today of Anne's passing. Back in the day, we were colleagues at Time-Life Books. What a fantastic lady! And what a gorgeous smile! God bless her family. I am so very sorry and send my deepest condolences.

Lucy and Lindsey, my heart aches for you as I have walked in your foot steps losing my dear Momma when I was only 34. Please know you both are in my prayers for peace and comfort with your tragic loss.
