Andrew - was so very sorry to hear the news. I only met your mom once, but instantly saw what a sweet lady she was. I pray that your current grief during this difficult time is soon replaced by warm memories of happy times past.

Susanne was the quintessential researcher at NLM even through her retirement. We remember and hope to emulate her attention to detail and her brilliant insights. She was an amazing colleague with quirky interests that she shared tidbits and updates with us from time to time. She is remembered fondly by all of us who had the honor to be around her.

Andrew - So very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She and I were friends from elementary school years through high school and college years and afterwards. I remember her mother, your grandmother, so well as she was during the 1960's. I remember you as a six year old.
She was always so proud of you.
Condolences to you and your family.
