My name is Saneel. I've known Jim for many years. Jim was a great friend & Mentor to me. I had the privilege to serve "TENAC" along side with Jim. Jim was a great man, man of the people, man of the helpless tenants. Jim was a guide to me & a great friend. We had beer together on the roof top of his D.C apartment, We often went to his favorite place"The Burger Joint" @Dupont Circle & Starbucks for coffee. I will miss you Jim my friend & Mentor. Love you man

He was a great fighter for the People and loved them and was loved by them. We in D.C. were so blessed to have this great warrior for housing and social justice live among us.

Jim was an amazingly talented scholar, researcher, speech writer and defender of the underdog. Working with Jim while he served in the CRS Government Division was such a joy. He possessed quick wit and a great sense of Irish humor. His subsequent work on saving and preserving DC landmarks was legendary throughout the city. Who will ever forget his efforts towards saving the landmark Scholls Cafeteria which he so aptly titles Save Our Scholls.
Although Jim has now passed from his earthly home, he will long be remembered for his tremendous talents and abundant gifts. All who knew Jim will never forget this special man.
