Remembering Tony Ingrassia--now fully alive in God's presence! Singing more robustly than ever with his friend & my dad--Gene Sleevi! One day, with Jane and Lisa, we will ALL sing together again!

Tony was a kindred spirit to my dad, Gene Sleevi. Both of them delighted in serving the Lord by singing their hearts out, leading the congregation at Mass with their robust voices. Tony made an impression on me long ago that I have never forgotten!

Tony and my dad, Gene Sleevi, used to sing together at St. Agnes Church in Arlington, VA! They both loved church songs and would sing with gusto and with all their hearts!
I have never forgotten Tony! His singing and his persona made an impression on me as a young teenager in the '60's when I was in my dad's folk choir at St. Agnes. And now--wonder of wonders-- many years later, I've been privileged to sing with his daughters Jane and Lisa at St. Mary's Church in Fairfax-- both of whom have inherited their father's glorious voice!
I'll bet Tony Ingrassia and Gene Sleevi are singing together once again in heaven!
