Cecy, words can't express how much you will be missed by your family. You've left such a legacy with us with the creating of jewelry, pottery, cards whether it was your birthday, anniversary, graduation etc., you always sent a special card. I'll miss the times we talked on the phone about creating jewelry, the Christmas cookies you made every year with the help of other family members. The times we spent up Columbia road playing Pokeno, putting up the Christmas decorations and taking them down. All the family gatherings, trips, dancing whether it be hand dancing or line dancing that you so loved to do. You will truly be missed by all gone but never forgotten. Forever in my Heart until we meet again RIHP. Love you

All of my aunts and uncles are one of a kind, special and unique people in their own ways, and that's what I love about each of them, as I've learned and continue to learn how to be the best I can be through interactions with them, which are always positive, enlightening, and even hella funny sometimes! And don't get it twisted, they all will get on you about doing what's right for you if they found out you're doing something you know isn't right, as I can testify to that!

I've been blessed to have them all, and I'm sure my cousins all feel the same way.

Dearest Aunt Cecy, you epitomized the word DILIGENCE (Diligence is defined as determination and careful effort). You took care of your husband and family, was a willing participant and volunteer at your church, worked hard for years until retiring as a federal government employee, learned all the latest line dance moves at the Sports and Learning complex (ensuring that ya'll "Johnson women" always was the first on the dance floor at functions!) amongst other things, and still, throughout that entire time, had the time to do something very awesome, maintained and constantly created cards for all of us on our special occasions, be it birthday, anniversaries, graduations, etc...and we know that's one massive undertaking, as large as our family is!

Please know that there were plenty times one of your cards would arrive at our home, and it would make our day just to know that you thought about us...

For every congrats, happy birthday, happy anniversary, get well soon or thinking of you card you created and perfected in all your diligence here with us, God called and created you a better position for you in heaven, Auntie.

I've heard it said that as long as someone remembers you, you'll always live forever, so please know that I've just added you to my list of ancestors, and will ensure that your name and deeds here with us will never be forgotten.

Oh, and thanks again for saving me from the hornets nest attack and removing almost all of the 20-25 or so stingers from my thigh that one weekend Wil and I spent with you on Gault Place when we were kids!

Love you always,

Ed
