Passed away November 1, 2015,
in Houston, Texas
Age 22 Years
Chad was born in Austin, Texas on January 27, 1993 and moved to New Orleans as an infant. By age 3, he was in Houston where he attended Bear Creek United Methodist Church Preschool and Kindergarten. He attended Owens Elementary, Labay Junior High and Cypress Falls High School where he was a talented athlete, particularly in swimming.
Chad later became a bartender where he enjoyed working in some of the best clubs in Houston. But what truly made him special was that he was the kind of person who was as happy carving elaborate jack-o-lanterns with his family as he was creating spectacular cocktails with his work family at Clé. He was at one of the happiest phases of his life, having just signed his first lease on an apartment and continuing his college studies. He was enjoying a happy dinner with friends and his last hours on earth were full of happiness and joy.
Perhaps Chad's greatest gift was his amazing ability to make people smile and enjoy life. He truly loved people and they loved him right back. He was a caring, generous and loyal friend, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and cousin.
He will be smiling down on us whenever we think of him because he will see that we will be doing it with a huge smile on our faces and happy remembering hearts.
"A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others." The Wizard of Oz
