Dave, Linda, Lisa and Mrs. T - Your house in Maine was always a great place to be, thanks to your dad. He let us get away with a lot, but not too much. I knew if we ever ended up in trouble your dad would be there to bail us out (literally). Definitely one of the cooler dads on the lake. I hope my kids' friends think of me that way one day. I'm sure he's still watching over all of us, as always.

Dear Elaine,
Please accept my condolences on Richards passing. Though it seems as if it were yesterday, your wedding was the first time that I ever entered a church. I didnt know that there was a brides side and a grooms side.
Our little coffee group in the NU commons had so many interesting and varied conversations aside from engineering, it was years before I could find others of Richards intellect.
Many you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and May Richards name always be remembered for a blessing.

I will remember Linda's Dad with a smile, always kind and always loving. Linda would often tell me how much he loved being with his grandchildren, taking Liam to see the horses or Michael and him for ice cream.
Will never forget being in their house in Long Grove, Il. the first time and seeing the wall which held the plaques with his inventions, and thinking how impressive that was.
Wishing the family peace at this difficult time.
