Ryan J. Tierney

Ryan J. Tierney of Marshfield, passed away Sept. 24, 2013, at the age of 36, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Kara (Pescatore)Tierney; loving father of Brendan and Colin Tierney; dear son of Gail Mariano and her husband Ed of Scituate and the late Mike Tierney; dear brother of Erin Mood of Quincy, Michael Tierney of Bourne, Scott Tierney of Fla., and the late Christopher Tierney; dear son-in-law of Philip and Jacqueline Pescatore of Marshfield; brother-in-law of Philip and Carolyn Pescatore, Michael and Lori Pescatore and Kate Pescatore. Also survived by a niece, many nephews, aunts and uncles as well as his beloved bulldog Murphy. Ryan was born and raised in Marshfield and a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 1995. He attended Bridgewater State College. Ryan worked for State Street in Boston for 12 years. Visiting hours were held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, in Marshfield, Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral was held from the funeral home Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Christines Church, 1295 Main St. in Marshfield, at 10 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
