Ellen Matheson

MATHESON, Ellen May (nee Shingfield) Born on January 15, 1924. Welcomed home into the arms of her infant son and God's keeping on February 4, 2007 at the age of 83. She will be deeply mourned by her sisters Florence, Edith, Loreen and she is predeceased by her sister Jean. She will be dearly missed by nieces and nephews and her loyal friends to the end Evelyn and Ruth. At Ellen's request cremation has taken place and a private dignified ministerial service was held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery where her ashes will be entombed near her late husbands Ralph Ford and William Matheson. As your expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Windsor. Arrangements entrusted to the Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh 519-735-2830. A tree will be planted in memory of Ellen Matheson in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on Sunday September 30, 2007. All are welcome.
