Terry Holcomb Obituary

XENIA — Terry Wayne Holcomb Jr., age 29, of Xenia, passed away as a result of a tragic auto accident Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was born May 1, 1986 in Peoria, Illinois. Terry was preceded in death by his grandfather: Victor Robb (IL); great grandpa: Olen Chapai (IL); great-great grandpa; Cora Abby (IL) and a uncle: Gary D. Holcomb. Terry's whole world was his two children: Faith age 9 and Markus age 7 (mother Jennifer Donovan). Terry is also survived by his brother and best friend: Gary Holcomb, sister-in-law: Jennifer L. Terry was a loving son to Mark and Cindy Nolan, a wonderful brother to Kristina Holcomb. He is survived by his loving grandma: Myrna Robb (IL), great grandmother: Velma Chapai (IL); aunts and uncles: Danette and Kevin Coffey (IL), Lori and Darby Moll (IL), Fred and Heather Williams (IL); cousins: Jake and Sam Nolan (Xenia), Ashley Nolan (Xenia), Dwayne and Lisa Nolan (Xenia), Larry Nolan (Xenia), Stella and Eric Strubhar (Xenia); Great Aunt and Uncle: Ken and Barb Crew (IL); numerous cousins that he was very close to: Kevin Coffey Jr. (Kelly), Devin Coffey (IL), Donnie, David, Dustin Hidden (IL), Amanda Moll (IL), Dillion Williams (IL), Tim Muterspaw (Xenia), Jessica Kajer (IL). Terry is survived by his best friends: Zach Jones (Xenia), Brandon McClanahan (Xenia), Randy Gibson (Xenia), and Jamie Long (Xenia). Terry had two nephews: Tucker T. Max and Coltman and a niece: Hadley Holcomb "Uncle T's Girl". Terry was a proud graduate of Hobart Institute of Welding. Terry was a Xenia Youth Wrestling coach and loved being part of the wrestling program. Terry was also a avid hunter and fisherman. Terry was loved by so many. It would be impossible to list all those whose life was touched by him because Terry never met a stranger. He lived his life to the fullest; with a great sense of humor and the ability to make people laugh. He will be tremendously missed. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday February 27, 2016 at AHOP, 282 Stelton Road, Xenia. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the AHOP Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his children. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
