Doris Carroll Obituary
York - Doris E. Carroll, 69, entered into rest on Friday April 20, 2018 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of Keith M. Carroll for 49 years.
She was born July 24, 1948 in York, the daughter of the late C. Leonard and Anna (Hoffman) Freed.
Doris was a 1966 graduate of York Catholic High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Rose of Lima Church.
A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday April 26, 2018 at St. Patrick Church, 219 S. Beaver St., York. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. with her son, the Rev. Keith M. Carroll, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, Keith, she is also survived by a daughter, Anne Marie Spahr and husband, Christopher of Dover, Rev. Keith Michael Carroll of York, Kevin A. Carroll of York; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; five siblings, Margaret Flinchbaugh of York, Eileen White of York, Sister Anne Leonard of McSherrystown, Leonard Freed of York and Lawrence Freed of York; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market St., York, PA 17404 or to St. Patrick Church, 219 S. Beaver St., York, PA 17401.
