Some people are placed in your life for a reason, and their memories stay with you for a lifetime. Mrs Fox is one of those people for me. I will always remember her as a great teacher and host of the 2 European trips that I (and my sister and mother) were blessed to have taken with her.

Mrs. Fox was my favorite teacher throughout all my schooling. I went on a European tour with her during the summer of 1975. She is one of the main reasons I choose to get my degree in teaching: to touch lives the way she did. Sympathies to her family.

Condolences from all our heart. Nancy left her traces - and they are deep and meaningfull - all over the world even in Germany. I am very happy and thankful that I was allowed to meet her and Foxy during my exchange year in Red Lion more then 40 years ago and that we staid close and dear to each other. We will always keep her in warmest memories. Foxy and Nancy became to us our American family.

Mrs. Fox was such a wonderful and positive influence to all of us who had her for a teacher at Red Lion. I remember being at her house. She was a fantastic lady and I never forgot her over the years and I've been out of school 41 years now. To the Fox family, you have my deepest sympathy for your loss; she made a difference in so many lives!

Dear Oscar, John, Ann and Alice:
Thinking way back to the High Rock days and our family's fun times with your family, I regret never reconnecting with the Fox gang. Nancy was a bright star to friends and family. I've often thought of her and how meaningful our times together were. Her family was always very important to her and I know she'll be missed.
My condolences,
Suzanne Manifold

"Ideal teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross, then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own." -- Nikos Kazantzakis

Mrs Fox was this kind of teacher and more. She was one of the most influential teachers in my life and the lives of many others. I am forever grateful to her.

Nancy was a wonderful friend to me. She opened my eyes to great writers, interesting barn designs, and the joy of hiking with friends and looking for spring flowers. My life was richer by knowing her.

This is a tough event for all of us that were touched by good 'ole Nancy J.
My condolences to all of you. Many of the best memories at RL and at Cymru, come to my mind. She was a true Ambassador, with her million dollar smile, even while we did our best to shock and awe her. The umbrella she placed over all of us, protected the good, not-so-good, and every other category of students/friends. We were all embraced with the same tolerance.
It is sad to think that she was robbed in later years by Alzheimers, but I know that her contributions will not be forgotten by me or anyone else. I just hope that somebody finally took that red pen away from her, I would hate to see this exerpt come back to me for corrections.
Again, I would hope that the sadness will not linger for long, and for each of us, to carry on with class and a sense of style that would make her proud.
