I only just found out about your passing this past summer. Heartbroken is an understatement. I am beyond grateful to have known you. You never gave up on me and stood by my side through the madness of my (more like our...lol!) young adulthood. I tell Amy stories all the damn time! I wouldn't be the woman I am today (and I'd have no clue how to fudge basic auto body work to pass inspection and would never have been able to pass THAT down to all 3 of my kids..haha) if I hadn't had you in my life during those years. You'd be proud of how feisty I've gotten in my old age...lol! But I still have never needed to use any of those "kung fu moves" you showed me all those years ago. Way before technology, we lost touch, got busy with our lives and I always figured next time I got home, I'd look you up. But I rarely made it back to York County and if I did, it was always for some reason and never just to reconnect. I missed my chance and that way bums me out, sister! You were an angel to me when we were kids and I hope you get a feather in your angelic wings every time I tell an Amy story or remember something from living on Linden Avenue, or of fixing up your apartment above your parents garage, or getting shitfaced at some rock show and having to carry each other home and I could go on and on and on and on. God, we squeezed a lot of life into 7 years. I'll always love you and I'll see you on the flip side, doll!

Amy I think about you often hard to believe it's been 3 years. You gave me a picture long time ago of a horse running free that's the way I think of you free. I keep it on my desk and when I look at it I think of you. Miss you.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to family and friends; so sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort at this difficult time.

I didn't become close with her until late into high school..then lost touch immediately after graduation. I tried to connect with her a few times, always without success. She always knew how to have a good time no matter where we ended up. Hope she lived her life that way❤

Amy was a free spirit and showed kindness and compassion to those in need or suffering. She had the biggest heart and cared for all of Gods creatures, big and small. She impacted many lives at the York County Assistance Office, both with clients and co-workers. There were many tearful comrades when the news was shared by management, we had no idea the end was so near.
