Terrence Lawn Obituary

Terrence Michael Lawn "Terry"

September 21, 2025

Terrence Michael Lawn "Terry" of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away on September 21, 2025, at age 58. He is a beloved father to Kelsey, Colin, Mallory, and Regan, and a longtime partner to Rachel Giercyk. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Pat (Patrick), Kevin, Tim (Arlene), Patrick (Angie); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a plethora of beloved friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Carolyn; brother, Jack; nephew, PJ; and cousin, Dave McTamney.

Terry was born and raised in Erdenheim, PA, and was a lifelong member of St. Genevieve Parish. He was passionate about family, music, and learning something new every day. Terry shared his passion for life with everyone he met. His ability to talk about any topic with enthusiasm and knowledge was unmatched. He enjoyed the simple things in life: breakfast with his kids, admiring nature with Rachel, getting comfortable with a good book and a cup of tea, golfing on a sunny afternoon, and evenings that started with Jeopardy and ended with 3 a.m. karaoke in the living room (with or without company).

Terry's father instilled an excellent work ethic in him, which he then passed down to his own children. His pride in his family was made clear when reminding them to "let 'em know you're a Lawn."

Terry is widely known for his big heart and faith in the Lord. He was selfless, constantly putting others' needs before his own. Anybody who had the opportunity to meet Terry knows he is truly a one-of-a-kind man who will always be remembered.

A funeral mass was held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Genevieve Church, Flourtown, PA. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Terry Lawn to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Checks made out to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation can be mailed to P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352. Please remember to write "In Memory of Terry Lawn" on the memo line of the check.

Rachel and kids - I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Terry. He was larger than life and always so kind and full of love and laughs. To his children - he was so very proud of you and would always fill me in when I would see him out, especially Regan; as I got to know him through her when she was at Swift. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this time of loss.
