Bernard Kuchinsky Obituary

Bernard John Kuchinsky, Jr., age 80, died of medical complications on February 19th, 2025, near Sanford, FL. Born in Hoboken, NJ, Bernard is survived by his best friend and loving sister, Roberta Valania, of Deland, FL, his daughters Tracey Marie Pidge of Sumner, WA and Bernadette Mae Kuchinsky (Tim Rinn) of Tacoma, WA, as well as his grandchildren, Ciara Boyce (Matt Boyce), Nico Coffman, Corbin Coffman (Anna), Kaylie Oliger (Troy Oliger), and his great grandchildren, Caeleb Stuart, Josiah Stuart, Harbor Coffman and Emery Rose Oliger. He is preceded in death by his mother & father, Bernard and Concetta (Angione) Kuchinsky, of Toms River, New Jersey. Although his life was cut shorter than we hoped he was loved deeply by his family, friends, and associations. He had a long career as a meat cutter in the UFCW Union Local 464A. He was a strong, charming, social man who loved to cook Italian food for his friends and neighbors. He was known as "The Mayor" in his neighborhood and a father figure to many. His family and friends will always remember him as a man with a stoic exterior masked with an abundant love held within. It was clear that those who knew him best, knew that he cared deeply for his family and friends. A small celebration of life will be held at a later date.
