Catherine Shedlock Obituary

Catherine (Kitty) Shedlock, 89, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. Kitty was born in Newark, NJ to parents Stanley & Rose on July 19, 1935. She grew up and attended school in the Menlo Park section of Edison, New Jersey. She was married for 63 years to George Shedlock of Woodbridge, NJ and was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala where her husband was an usher. Kitty was predeceased by her husband George, her parents Stanley and Rose of Edison and sisters Mary and Ann of New Jersey. She is survived by her children George (and partner Betty), John (and partner Rosemarie), Dennis and grandchildren Alexander, Danielle and Dale. A visitation will be held on Sunday May 11, 2025, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481 between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. A mass will be held on Monday May 12, 2025, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW State Rd 200, Ocala FL 34476 at 8:30 am. Burial Services will be private. Anyone wishing to share their support can send flowers, light a candle and/or send a sympathy message to the family at Hiers-Baxley.com on the memorial page of Catherine Theresa Shedlock.
