Charleen Swangler Obituary

Charleen Anne (Zanes) Swangler, affectionately, departed this world to be with Jesus on August 11, 2025. A beloved resident of Ocala, Florida, Charleen's significant life journey began on October 30, 1966, in the lively setting of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Born to William and Kathleen Zanes of Mays Landing, NJ, she built a life filled with love and empathy. A proud alumna of Egg Harbor Township High School, Charleen set the stage for a life defined by kindness and joy. Her most thrilling chapter began upon meeting her soulmate, Al Swangler. Together, they enjoyed 31 years of marriage, a union characterized by deep love and mutual respect. Al and Charleen were blessed with two remarkable children, Michael Bezer and Marissa Swangler, the center of her world. Her boundless warmth extended to her dear sister, Debbie, and her husband Imant Reinwalds, her brother William and his wife Noredy, her sister Heather and her husband Tim Hoke, and a dear friend like a daughter Charlie Neely who was always there with a helping hand. She leaves behind numerous adored nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Charleen took immense pleasure in family gatherings, basking in the laughter and affection they offered. Her compassionate heart and readiness to assist anyone in need left an indelible mark on those she touched. Her love for animals was unmistakable, especially her beloved dog Sammy, who brought her much joy. Always ready with a joke and a smile, Charleen had an extraordinary gift for brightening the lives of others, her presence spreading joy wherever she went. Charleen's life is a testament to love, generosity, and happiness. She leaves a legacy of kindness and unforgettable memories, cherished by her family and friends. As we celebrate Charleen's life, may her loving spirit continue to inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace, wrapped in the comforting warmth of God's love. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with the Funeral Service starting at 11:30 AM at George H.
