David Berger Obituary

DAVID BERGER JUNE 23, 1940 – FEBRUARY 23, 2025 DAVID BERGER 84 YEARS OLD. BORN JUNE 23, 1940 IN MUNICH GERMANY. HE CAME TO AMERICA IN 1956. HE WAS A BAKER BY TRADE IN MUNICH, GERMANY BUT GOT INTO THE CAR SERVICE IN NEW YORK. HE HAD MANY FAMOUS PEOPLE LIKE PAUL NEWMAN, LAUREN BECALL AND SO ON. HE MET THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE LINDA AND MARRIED IN 1962 AND WAS MARRIED FOR 62 YEARS. LIVED IN NEW YORK AND WENT TO FLORIDA TO GET AWAY FROM THE COLD. HE TOOK MANY TRIPS AND WAS BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY HIS LIFE IN RETIREMENT HE HAS 4 BOYS, JEFFREY, DARREN AND MICHAEL. OLDER SON MARK PASSED AWAY AT 26 YEARS OLF. HE HAS 7 GRANDCHILDREN. WHEN HE HAD END STAGE KIDNEY DISEASE IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO ACCEPT. HE WENT ON DIALYSIS AND THAT IS WHEN HE DID NOT WANT TO GO ON. HIS WIFE LINDA TOOK CARE OF HIM UNTIL THE END. AT THE DIALYSIS CENTER HE WAS UNRESPONSIVE AND WENT INTO CARDIAC ARREST. HE PASSED AWAY ON FEBRUARY 23, 2025. HE WAS HONEST, SINCERE, AND ALWAYS UPBEAT UNTIL HIS KIDNEY PROBLEMS. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF HIS FAMILY. Visitation will be on Monday, March 3, from 1 to 3 pm. at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages, FL.
