Elizabeth Wagner Obituary

Elizabeth Wagner, aged 66, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. She was born on December 26, 1958, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth dedicated her life to serving others through her work with the American Legion and her time in sales and the U.S. Army. Her commitment to advocating for fellow veterans was a testament to her generous spirit and sense of duty. Elizabeth cherished her membership at Ocala First United Methodist Church, where she found community and faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Wagner and Patricia Kilgus and her brothers, John and Robert. Elizabeth leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her daughter, Cynthia Shrader, and son-in-law, Michael, of Ocala, Florida; her son, Craig DeStefano, also of Ocala, Florida; her sister, Martha and her brother, William. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren-Joseph, Jasmine, Christian, Hunter, Stefany, Mason, Kylie, Khloe, Zander, and Blake-and two great-granddaughters, Marceline and Seraphina, who brought immense joy to her life. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, where family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and legacy. Elizabeth will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and fellow veterans. Her kindness and strength have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
