Ella Gordon Obituary
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" – 1 Corinthians 15:55
Ella Mae Gordon was born on November 1, 1946, in Orange Lake Florida to Thomas Gordon and Eva Mae Presley-Simmons. She was educated in the Marion County School System. Ella accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was united with the House of Prayer Church when she served as the mother of the Church.
She was employed as a Head Farm Labor Contractor for forty years retiring in 2020.
She had a passion for fishing, traveling and being a community caretaker.
Her life was one of grace, love, and dedication, and her presence will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A flower once bloomed so bright and fair, with petals soft and scent so rare.
She swayed with life in morning's dew, a gentle soul, both strong and true.
