Kenneth O'Brien Obituary

Kenneth Joseph O'Brien Ken, beloved husband of Kathleen (Kay) O'Brien for the past 61 years, passed away at home in The Villages, Florida on September 6 th 2025 at the age of 91. Ken was the fourth of five children born to Thomas & Margaret O'Brien in New York City on August 8,1934, and spent the majority of his life as a New Yorker. After they married, Ken & Kay resided in Crestwood, NY and raised their family there for over 50 years. During this time, he served as a New York City Police Officer for 27 years and retired to The Villages for the last season of his wonderful, long life. The most important thing to Ken was his family. He is survived by his wife, Kay, along with their four children, James O'Brien, Susan (William) Barton, John (Megan) O'Brien and Patricia (James) Brazill. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
