"Well done, thou good and faithful servant " - Matthew 25:21 With hearts filled with love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we celebrate the homegoing of Ms. Lorene Colbert, who entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 23, 2025, after a lifetime of dedication, service, and unwavering love for her family and community. Born on July 25, 1944, in Cotton Plant, Florida, to the late Willie and Edith Mack, Lorene was a proud graduate of Howard High School, Class of 1963. She devoted over 30 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving in various convalescent homes in Ocala. Her kindness, selflessness, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Lorene's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Her legacy of strength, faith, and generosity lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lorene Colbert lived a life of love, faith, and dedication. She will forever be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her unwavering strength, and the profound impact she had on those blessed to know her.
