With hearts filled with love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we celebrate the homegoing of Ms. Lorene Colbert, who entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 23, 2025, after a lifetime of dedication, service, and unwavering love for her family and community.
Born on July 25, 1944, in Cotton Plant, Florida, to the late Willie and Edith Mack, Lorene was a proud graduate of Howard High School, Class of 1963. She devoted over 30 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving in various convalescent homes in Ocala. Her kindness, selflessness, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Lorene's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Her legacy of strength, faith, and generosity lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Reunited in Glory:
Lorene is now at peace in the presence of the Lord, joining her beloved parents Willie and Edith Mack, and her siblings Alexander Mack, Andrew Mack, Elijah Mack, and Elizabeth Wilkerson.
Lorene Colbert lived a life of love, faith, and dedication. She will forever be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her unwavering strength, and the profound impact she had on those blessed to know her. Though she has departed from this world, her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rest in eternal peace, Ms. Lorene Colbert. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
