Lucille Seefeldt Obituary

Lucille Marie Seefeldt, 92, of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully at "Cates House" Hospice on February 13, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL, on December 22, 1932, she was 1 of four children to Edward and Florence Pawlicki. She graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1951 with a focus in Office Practice. Lucille worked at Jewel Foods from 1975 to 1995 and cherished cooking, baking, dancing, bowling, and being a mom and grandparent. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Zimmerman; four sons, Mark(Maryanne), Daniel(Bonnie), Patrick(Julie), and William (Denise) Skaggs; and twelve grandchildren, Shawn, Stephanie, Kevin, Jennifer, Katrina, Cody, Corrine, Jarrod, Joseph, Jacob, Sarah, Callen, and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Allen Seefeldt, previous spouse Ernest Skaggs, brother Robert, sisters Loretta and Arlene, and children Timothy and Rachel. Memorial services will be announced later. Funeral arrangements are by Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Lucille was known for her energetic spirit, dedication to family, and iconic holiday gatherings. She was active in her retirement community, where she enjoyed performing with her friends at the clubhouse, and was a devoted member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. May she rest in peace with her loved ones that have preceded her. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to E.W. & Lucille Cates House. Checks may be made payable to "Hospice of Marion County" and reference "Cates House" mailed to 3231 SW 34th Ave Ocala, FL 34474.
