I worked with Luvenia at Madison Street School. She was a fixture in the lunchroom and was loved by the children and staff.
On a personal note we were dear friends which extended outside of school and work. We watched our children grow and we shared stories about their lives and experiences.
Her son Tony was in the same grade at middle school as my daughter Kris.
She was a kind and thoughtful person and friend to many.
She will be missed
May she rest in eternal peace and May perpetual light shine upon her.
My deep condolences to the family.

When we worked together at Madison Street Elementary, I was always thankful for Luvenia. Every day she took the kids lunch money, and made sure each child felt special and was taken care of. The watched over each one like they were her own. No one went hungry on Luvenia's watch, and all the children and staff loved her. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.
