Patrick Stack Obituary

Patrick John Stack, 75, of The Villages, FL, passed away suddenly on August 19, 2025, while visiting family in South Carolina. A proud native Floridian, Pat was born to James and Jean Stack in Hialeah, Florida on March 17, 1950. Pat served honorably in the U.S. Army, and spent much of his life in Virginia, where he built a successful 35-year career in residential and commercial construction and later in corporate sales. After retiring, he returned to his home state and settled in The Villages, where he embraced the lifestyle and community. He will be remembered for his deep love for family and friends, his quick wit, love of practical jokes, and his passion for golf and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Joanna; his sons, Michael Reibsamen, and his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Matthew and Amelia; and Steven Reibsamen, his wife Barbara, and their children, Abigail, Margaret and Samantha; two brothers, Monsignor Daniel Stack, and James Stack, and his wife, Mary; a sister, Mary Stack; two nieces, one nephew, and their nine children. A short private service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on September 8, 2025. Friends and neighbors are invited to a celebration of Pat's life from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Brownwood Hotel in the Villages. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you share your favorite photos and stories of Pat and make a donation in Pat's name to a veteran's organization of your choice.
