Scott Hibbs Obituary

Scott Edwin Hibbs,61, of Hudson, FL, passed unexpectedly on April 7th, 2025. He was a beloved father and friend. Born on February 3rd, 1964, in Tampa, FL. Survived by his sister Lisa, his brother Dave, his son's Scott Hibbs Jr. (Scotty), Michael Robert Hibbs (Mikey), his son in law Roberto Kurtz, his daughter Stevie Marie Kurtz, his grandchildren Bryson, Christopher, Charlotte, Mason and all of his beloved friends. He started working when he was 14 with his own lawn business around the neighborhood. He graduated Leto High School in Tampa, Fl and took Tech courses with HVAC and did air conditioning most of his life. His hobbies included working on the "green bomber" his old truck, playing with his labrador puppy and shooting pool. Scott fought a hard long battle of MS, he never gave up, always kept going no matter what. Although Scott's presence is no longer with us. He is always in our hearts. May his memory be a blessing and may we carry fourth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. The Celebration of life will be held May 4th at Hobbs Hideaway in Hudson, FL from 12 to 3 PM.

Scott was my best friend for about 55 years. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for ! He was always there for me whenever I needed him and helped me out of many complicated situations ! I will always love and miss him !!! Rest in peace my wonderful friend !!! I want to send condolences to his family and friends ! Much Love !!!
