Vincent Adonijah Brown

Vincent A. Brown, a man whose journey began in Skibo, Portland, Jamaica, on October 14, 1939. Born to Sisilin Grant and Thaddeus Brown, he was one of two siblings. From a young age, Vincent exhibited remarkable determination and a strong work ethic that would define his life. At the age of 20, Vincent moved to Buff Bay, where he learned the trade of shoemaking. This skill became a cornerstone of his early career, and he soon moved to Kingston to open his own shop. His dedication and craftsmanship earned him a wealth of knowledge and respect in his community. Years later, Vincent embarked on a new chapter of his life, migrating to Boston, Massachusetts. Here, he transitioned into a different career path, working at Children's Hospital in the department of environmental services. It was in this role that he discovered a passion for floor cleaning, which led him to establish his own business once again. Vincent's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence were evident in everything he did. While in Boston, Vincent met the love of his life, Beverly. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming their son Jamie into the world. In 1999, the family moved to Florida, where Vincent continued to be a loving and hard-working man, always putting his family first. Vincent is preceded in death by his sibling Adina. He leaves behind his two children, Carlos and James, and four stepchildren, Sashana, Janet, Sandra, Jacqueline, and Daneroy.
