William Harvey "Bill " Heath Jr.
Age 84 passed away peacefully on April 30th 2025 in Ocala Florida. Born on May 18th 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina, marked by dedication, crafftmanships, and a deep love for the outdoors. He served honorably in the United States Army before beginning the career as a welder with Georgia-Pacific in Dudley, North Carolina. Known for his skilled hands and a keen eye Bill later turned his talents for restoring antique furniture. He found great satisfaction in bringing new life into forgotten pieces and share them at auctions and flea markets. He work as an Auctioneer which allowed him to combine his appreciation for the Antiques with his engaging presence.
A passionate Outdoorsman, Bill cherished time spent fishing and hunting pursuits that brought him peace and connection with nature through his life.
In his later years Bill found comfort and companionship living with his daughter Lena Frances Davenport and son-in-law Eugene Davenport here in Ocala.
He is remembered by many who shared his life his family includes Gordon Wilbur Williams, Chester Ray Williams and his wife Judy Williams, Lena Francis Davenport and her husband Eugene Davenport, William Harvey Heath III and stepchildren Bobby Glenn Holland and wife Nita Holland Carol Lynn McCtcheon,Dwayne Eric Holland.
Bill was a proud grandfather to Brian Williams, Jeremy Williams, Matthew Williams, Timothy Williams, Alicia Kennedy, Crystal morning, Christina Hand, John Starr, Kayla Krauss, Angela Angel, Rebel Wood, Adam McMurray, Kristy D Heath, Jessica K. Lingerie, Kevin C. Heath.

Bill was preceded in death by significant other Peggy Myers, his parents William Harvey Heath of Los Angeles California and Helen Irene Gardner of Goldsboro North Carolina and one brother Bobby Heath of Fayetteville North Carolina.
