Norma R. Robideau

Norma R. Warren Robideau, 93, passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2024 at Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY to Delbert and Margaret (Sample) Warren and soon moved to Massena. NY. Norma met and married Raymond Robideau and created their family of 5. They moved to the Ithaca, NY area in the early 1960's. Norma was a bookkeeper for several area businesses and retired from the Ithaca Building Center. She was an avid Cornell Hockey fan and enjoyed attending all of her children's, grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities. Norma's family was her most important treasure. She will be especially remembered by her family for playing the piano at special family events. Her most recent activity was scratching off lottery tickets and looking for the big one. Norma is survived by her children, Kevin and Susan (Bott) Robideau of Aiken, SC, Gregory and Sheila (Vorhis) Robideau of Ithaca, NY and Judy (Robideau) and Lyndon Decker of Homer, NY. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Sonya, Christopher, Timothy, Paula, Adam and Dana and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Smith and Nancy Warren of Colton, NY, and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Delbert & Margaret, her husband, Raymond and her brother and sister-in-law Wendell and Effie Warren. Arrangements are through Bangs Funeral Home in Ithaca, NY. Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 24th from 12-2PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 25th @ 10AM. Burial will be at Frear Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes or Hospicare of Ithaca.
