Richard Dann

Richard Melvin Dann, age 67 passed away on 10/18 2025 at Cayuga Medical Center. He was predeceased by his wife Kim Dann, father Melvin Dann, mother, Thelma Dann, brother David Dann, sister-in-law Debbie and sister Tina Blake. He is survived by his wife, Mary Chamberlain, his brother Kevin Dann (Marie), sister April Dann, son Rick Dann (Rebecca), son Kurt Dann (Lachea), son Chad Dann (Neely), daughter Abby Waters (Joe), daughter Julie Palmer (John), daughter Kimberly Hamm (David), daughter Jenny Chamberlain, son Bill Chamberlain (Jessica), and son Steven Chamberlain (Ashley). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kameron, Kurt, Christopher, Anne-Marie, Kincaid, Rowan, Brayden, Rory, Taylor (Tommy), Zac (Sam), Chloe, Addison, Sage, Teegan, Corey, Maison, Penelope, Remington, Mae, and Logan. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Oliver, Paisley, Bella, William, and Kurt. Richard was deeply loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and had a passion for stock car racing. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th, with calling hours from 2 to 4 PM and the funeral service following immediately at the Groton Assembly of God, 701 South Main Street, Groton, New York.
