Robert Lindsey Obituary

Robert (Bo) Lindsey 65 of Newfield NY passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2025. He was born in Buffalo NY on June 4, 1959, to Tracy and Elsie Lindsey. Robert attended Spencer VanEtten and Ithaca schools. He served in the US Army and received an Honorable Discharge. He drove tractor trailer over the road, was a longshoreman on the docks in NY, NJ, Conn, MD and VA. Robert worked several other jobs throughout Ithaca. His passion was carpentry/woodworking. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. Robert is survived by his sisters Diane (Terry) Nazer of Florida, Dawn (Paul) Cowles of Spencer NY and his brother Wayne (Judy) Doster of Freeville, NY. He has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert was predeceased by his parents Elsie Lindsey and Tracy Lindsey, sisters Alice White, Sandra McFarland and Calla Hari. His Brothers Henry Doster and James Hari. Robert leaves behind two special friends, Andrew Pogson and Jennifer Noce. He was also very close to Lisa Coleman. Services are being held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery in Spencer, NY at 11 AM with Paul Cowles officiating. Celebration of Life to follow.
