Susan Dafoe Obituary

Susan Catherine Dafoe, 65 of Ithaca, NY passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Cayuga Medical Center. Born May 2, 1959 in Levittown, PA, the only daughter the late John H. and Catherine Sterling Broomfield. Susan was an Intensive Case Manager for Tompkins County Mental Health. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Clinton "Scotty" Dafoe; her son, Gunnar Merrill Wrolstad; her three brothers, John (Shirlie) Broomfield, Don (Deb) Broomfield and David (Colleen) Broomfield; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family. Susan was predeceased by her brother James S. Broomfield. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held later in 2025 both here in New York and in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susan's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. So sorry to hear of this Gunner, Scott, and Sue's many loved ones. Sue was a loved friend and coworker of many and a dedicated hard-worker in service to her clients. She will be missed by many including me. Rest in eternal heavenly peace and love dear friend Sue. Steve

Sincere condolences to Scott, Gunnar and the extended family. Sue was a colleague but, more than that, a friend. So many great memories. We shared a Cleveland connection. I will always remember her so very fondly. Gone too soon.
