WEAVERVILLE/NORTH WILKESBORO – Beverly Rena Whittemore, age 44, of North Wilkesboro, formerly of Weaverville, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Mountain Valley Hospice in Dobson, NC.
Miss Whittemore was born on April 26, 1980, in Buncombe County where she lived most of her life. She graduated from the Progressive Education Program at T. C. Roberson High School in 2000 and was a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church.
She is the daughter of Shirley Gilliam Whittemore and the late Woodson Whittemore.
Also surviving in addition to her mother is her sister, Barbara Wiebel and husband George of North Wilkesboro; niece, Haley Wiebel of New York; and her loving family by heart, Chris Foster and Dustina Loughner of Boomer, NC.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787 with Reverend Delain Whittemore officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Penland Cemetery, Weaverville.
