We are deeply sorry for the passing of Anniece. We had known each other for over 40 years and been neighbors for close to that many. She loved people, and always had a smile on her face. She loved her boys and adored her grandchildren. She prayed for them every day. Anniece loved and cared about her neighbors, taking time to check on them to make sure they were well. She loved all her family and her church family. She loved her husband, and together they raised two fine young men. When Jim passed away, they stood by her and made sure she was well cared for. She was proud of her sons, their wives, and her grandchildren. We will all miss her. I already miss her telephone calls. If she didn't hear from me in a couple weeks, she would call to make sure we were OK. She would say, "This is Bird, what you doing? When I called her, I could hear the Gaithers singing or a preacher's sermon in the background. She loved Pastor Charles Phillips and Pastors Ralph Sexton, Sr. and Jr. She especially loved Jubilee. She always invited everyone to come to Jubilee. We had some great times together, women's retreats, working together in VBS and other church activities. She especially loved working with young people. I think that's how she ended up with the nickname "Bird."
You will miss her, and we pray God will comfort you now and in the coming months. She loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and she's with Him now. We love you all and praying for you.

She was best friend in high school and a beautiful bridesmaid in my wedding in 1958. Lots of memories of square dancing. Loved her!
