Zenith Diane Shands

Zenith Diane Shands, aged 41, peacefully transitioned from her earthly home on October 3, 2025. Born on July 12, 1984, in Asheville, NC, to Michael Lawrence and the late Priscilla Shands, Zenith was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Zenith was a beautiful soul, full of strength and intelligence. Her presence lit up every room, and she was deeply loved by everyone she encountered. Her laughter, compassion, and confidence were infectious, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. Zenith was a devoted mother whose greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. Her love for her family was boundless and unconditional. As a dedicated medical technician, she poured her heart into helping others, treating everyone with kindness and respect. To Zenith, her work was more than a job; it was her calling. She will always be remembered for her radiant smile, strength, and unwavering love. Zenith was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Shands; brother, Michael J. Shands; and grandparents, Alonzo and Zeppy Shands. She leaves behind a devoted family, including her husband, Brad Littlejohn; her children, Brad Shands (Josselyn), Jaquella Shands, Zamia Shands, and Omarion Shands; and her beloved grandchildren, Jayden Shands, Xayonna Shands, Brad Shands, Jr., Melonnie Shands, and Jakari Shands. She is also survived by her father, Michael Lawrence; sister, Debreda Shands; nephew, Alonzo Shands; niece, Diamond Shands (Dazijah); and great-nieces and nephews, Xenovia Shands, Amirar Shands, and Ayden Shands. Her aunts, Cynthia Shands and Linda Malik, along with many other relatives and friends, will miss her dearly. Zenith's spirit will continue to live on in her children and family, and she will be missed dearly by all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Viewing will be 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service.
