Andrew Bryant Morgavan

Andrew "Drew" B. Morgavan, age 73, of Peoria, Ariz. (formerly of Mundelein, Ill.), died August 22, 2025, after courageously enduring progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) without complaint for 14 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen Louden, daughter Meghan Morgavan of Eugene, Ore., sister Jan Morgavan of Benson, N.C., cousins, nieces and nephews, and dog Zoey. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Evelyn. Drew was born in Chicago and raised in Greensboro, N.C. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill and remained a lifelong Tarheels fan. He worked in information technology, including at Advocate Health Care, and retired from the Lake County Regional Office of Education as technology director. Earlier, he professionally photographed rock bands at an outdoor concert venue in Illinois. Until his illness, Drew enjoyed conversation, even with strangers, and helping others with computer problems. Even in his last year, he enjoyed travel, playing Yahtzee, and going to neighborhood parties. A memorial service is planned Saturday, Sept. 27, 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in the chapel, 219 W. Maple Ave., Libertyville, Illinois.
