Charles L. Stricklan Jr.

Charles "Charlie" Leslie Stricklan Jr. was born on April 5th, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles Stricklan Sr. and Helen (Williams.) Stricklan. He graduated Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Marketing and Communications in 1973.In his early career, he was Art director at KPLR-television in St. Louis. He was also a radio personality, lecturer and was the founder and CEO of several companies.Over his nearly 50 years in Arizona, Charlie became highly regarded in the marketing and advertising community known as one of the leading experts in the successful marketing of elite companies. Charlie received numerous awards and accolades over his lifetime for marketing and advertising including several MAME Awards, MIRM awards, served on multiple charitable boards and local councils.He was an avid golfer and was passionate about spending time with friends and family. He loved to cook and host dinner parties.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Lalomondier, and his son, Charles Leslie Stricklan III, and survived by his brother, Glenn Warren, and son Johnny Wayne Hoffman, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, as well and many other loving family members, dear friends and Oso Dama his beloved dog.He will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.
