Gary Gritz Obituary

Gary Gritz lost his battle with cancer on January 12, 2023. He died peacefully at home with his wife at his side. Gary was 70.

Gary was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on January 26, 1952, to Raymond and Betty Gritz. He was a 1970 Falls High graduate.

Gary worked for Roadway Express, P.I.E. and Yellow Freight, retiring after 35 years.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and mother- and father-in-law.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Resa, who will miss him terribly.

Gary and Resa would like to thank our dear friends for all the support and prayers. We would also like to thank Cleveland Clinic’s Dr. Xuan-Trang Day and her palliative hospice care network. Also Stow Fire Department Station 2.

As per Gary’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the V Foundation- Victory Over Cancer, or St. Jude’s.
