Georgetta Jane Mitchell

Georgetta Jane Mitchell (Miz Jane and grams to many), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26th in Arizona at the age of 94. She leaves behind two children, John and Jerry, four grandchildren, Jay, Jennifer, Erin, and Josh, and two great grandchildren, Amanda and Logan. Miz jane will be missed deeply by her family and friends. She held a strong passion for music and shared that passion with others. She taught herself to play the Hammond Organ and harp, and even played as a drummer for the band "Sounds Like Old Times". Jane was also passionate about Jesus and sang "Jesus Loves You" with others and reminded them to always remember it. She was a shinning light and her presence touched many lives. Jane's remains will be placed next to her husband and parents in Denver, Colorado by her immediate family. No service will be offered. Jane's legacy lives on in the countless memories she's shared with family and loved ones. To all of you Jane has left this message, Please don't sing sad songs for me, forget your grief and fears, For I am in a perfect place, away from pain and tears.... I have a place in Heaven with Jesus at my side. My life on earth was very good, as earthly lives can go, But paradise is so much more than anyone can know... My heart is filled with happiness and sweet rejoicing too. To walk with God is perfect peace. A joy forever new. Remember my darling, because this is true... Jesus loves you, and is waiting here for you too.
