Jane Landreth Russell

Jane Landreth Russell died June 11th 2025 Ms. Russell was born October 21, 1943 to William and Virginia Landreth in Fort Worth TX where she was raised. She graduated from Arlington Heights high school and continued her education at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelors and Masters degrees. There she was president of her sorority Pi Beta Phi. She was very active in the community: upon moving to Paradise Valley, she was very active in the PTA, twice served on the board of Junior League of Phoenix, served as a national officer of Pi Beta Phi and also served in many leadership positions in the Valley Presbyterian Church. Ms. Russell was a selfless soul, always willing to reach out and donate her time and attention to the people and causes that she loved. She is survived by her children Scott Russell and Shelley Daniell; her 4 grandchildren Tanner, Cameron, Ben and Ellie; her sister Linda Shropshire brother Bill Landreth; numerous nieces,nephews and cousins; her adorable dog Perri, as well as her magnificent friends. A memorial service will be held June 20th at 11 AM at Valley Presbyterian Church. A light reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
