Janet Maxine "Jan" Baney

Janet "Jan" Maxine Baney, age 88 of Sun Lakes, AZ peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. She was born May 23, 1937 in Duluth, MN. Jan loved traveling and visited countries all around the world. Her first big adventure outside the United States came when she left the country to be with the love of her life. Ron was in the Air Force and headed to Germany. He proposed to her and asked if she would go with him. A quick decision needed to be made and she followed her heart and head overseas with him. That is where they brought their first two children into the world. Jan also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with friends, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She volunteered at White Dove Thrift Shoppe and supported that business by her many purchases. Jan found peace and joy in her relationship with God. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Maximillian and Ethel Herrnberger; husband, Ronald Baney; brother, Maximillian Herrnberger II. She is survived by: Son – Richard Baney and wife Deb Grandson – Michael Baney, partner Sheila and their daughter Arianna Grandson – Kevin Baney, wife Brittany and their daughters Briana, Marley & Aria and sons Kaiden, Jakob & Liam Grandson – Timothy Baney, wife Courtney and their daughters Piper & Evie Daughter – Cindy Aberle and husband Tim Granddaughter – Christina Bearer, husband Liam and their sons Devyn & Landon and daughters Kelsey & Meghan Grandson – Josh Aberle, wife Andrea and their sons Caleb & Jacob Son – Robert Baney and wife Heather Grandson – Brandon Baney, wife Marissa and their sons Benjamin & Nicholas Granddaughter – Brittany Baney Jan was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
