Maria Pfeifer Obituary

Maria Guadalupe Pfeifer, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Silverbirch Assisted Living in Phoenix, AZ after a long journey with Alzheimer's disease. Maria was born on April 7, 1935 to Esiquio Gomez and Estefania Lopez in El Zapote, Michoacan, Mexico. She was a strong, fearless woman and loving mother. Maria was preceded in death by her son Miguel Angel and is survived by her remaining children; Fidelina, Francisco, Silvia, Jose, Aracelia and Selenia. She also leaves behind countless grand kids, great grand kids and great great grand kids. Maria was always well dressed with her hair and make up done at all times. She enjoyed receiving flowers, caring for her plantitas and listening to music. Everyone who knew her always complimented her beauty and how well she put herself together on a daily basis. She was a devout Catholic who prayed her rosary daily and as often as 3 or 4 times a day. Mom, you fought a tough fight your entire life. You remained strong through all your endeavors and you pushed through the most trying of moments. May you find everlasting peace and happiness in the Lord's eternal Kingdom of Heaven and that you find comfort in knowing that you were well cared for and loved until the very end. May the Glory of God be with you always. You are loved dearly!
