Marie Elaine Price Lockridge

"Yeah I'm that weirdo that had to write her own obituary, but who better to pen it? Born Marie Elaine Price in 1967 to Thomas C Price Jr. and Carmen Price. I'm survived by two brothers, Tommy, Joey and my sister Armida. I'm also survived by three nieces, Noelle, Cat and Gina and two grand-nephews Atticus and Caspian, and my grand-niece Naomi. I lived an adventure-filled childfree life but I still had kids in my life. I was "Tia" (Spanish for aunt); I was that aunt with no kids who was fun. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2019 but I traveled and made tons of friends (too many to list). Thank you Jose, Cisco, Irma, Peter, Brandon, Brad, Carlos, Mark, Mel, Rhiannon, and Ginny. Thank you for our relationship John Zondlo, you're a good man. Thank you for the gift of getting to be a member of your family (the Zondlo and Wintermantels). NEVER say, "She lost her battle with breast cancer." I didn't "lose" anything because it was always an unwinnable war and I, and anyone who dies from cancer are NOT losers. In fact, it's the cancer that loses, because it only lives as long as I do, so when I died, the cancer died with me. So you see, I got the last laugh on cancer!
