Mary Marin Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary A. Marin, nana, and great-nana. She departed this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love that spans generations.
Born in a time when strength was measured by resilience and success by the lives one touched, she exemplified these virtues throughout her journey. Growing up as the 7 th child of 10 on "The Ranch", she experienced the beautiful chaos of a full household. Her greatest joy and accomplishment were her family of four children who knew the special warmth of her love, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought new light to her later years.
She approached motherhood not as a duty but as a sacred calling, pouring her heart into creating a home where love was the foundation and kindness the rule. Those who knew her speak of her gentle spirit, her patient wisdom, and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel important and cherished.
Beyond her role as the heart of our family, she touched countless lives through her kindness and compassion. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her descendants and in the memories treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her four children Gloria Mefford (Steve), John Marin (Ellen), Linda Marin (Beth) and Robert Marin (Cindy) who were blessed to call her Mom, six grandchildren Justin, Jenny, Danny, Chris, Michael and Taylor, three great-grandchildren Sammy, Emma and Mallory, and three sisters Juanita Lopez, Lola Marin and Betty Stinson who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. While our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her influence continues through the lives she shaped and the love she shared so generously.
A celebration of her life will be held on April 10th at Best Funeral Home from 9:00 am – 11:00 am followed by the burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 12:30 pm.
She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mary, please visit our floral store.
