Micheal Boltz Obituary

Micheal Duane Boltz, formerly of Renton, Washington, died at Banner Boswell Hospital, Arizona, on May 16, 2025, at 8:33 PM with his sister and brother-in-law at his side. A resident of Glendale, Arizona since 1985, Mr. Boltz was born on August 6, 1956, to Duane and Barbara Boltz in Grand Island, Nebraska. He grew up in Renton, where he graduated from Lindbergh High School. No one who met Micheal forgot his infectious personality and his passion for traveling the world, his pets, love of country music, and the Seattle Seahawks football team. Mr. Boltz spent his career working as a safety manager at numerous nuclear power plants across the country, including his last position as manager at the Palo Verde Nuclear Station in Arizona. He enjoyed his job and retired in 2020. His legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his daughters Christina, Michell, and Amy, granddaughter Lexi, all of Buffalo, Wyoming. His sister, Paula Charboneau (Leon), of Olympia, Washington. He is remembered as a great friend by cousins Doug Tesner and Jodi Rethmeier, Rich Boltz, Carol Zmijewski, Jim Farmer, and his best friends Richard and Nancy Carden. Micheal was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Barbara Boltz; his wife of twenty-five years, Cachita Boltz; and his sister, Pamela Farmer. Feel welcome to leave memories and favorite stories in the comments. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Moose Lodge in Glendale, AZ, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

I enjoyed working with and knowing Mike, he was such a great kind man. Until we all meet up on the other side of the veil, RIP Mike.
