Natasha Dennis Obituary

Natasha Collins Dennis passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at home surrounded by her husband, daughter and sisters after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born November 20, 1957 in Kankakee, Illinois, the oldest daughter of William and Connie Schultz Collins. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1976 and married Rick Dennis April 27, 1991. Natasha worked for many years at Valley National Bank and retired from Barrow Neurological Institute in 2023 after 25 years. She is survived by her husband Rick and daughter Zoë, sisters Val Jaenicke and Scott Memenga of Kankakee, Jennifer and Steve Sanchez of Scottsdale, and Kate and Shannon Shutter of Kankakee. along with 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 grand-nephews and 2 grand-nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents, brother Tim Collins, and nephew Nathan Mackin. Natasha was an artist at heart. Her hobbies have included drawing, beading and for many years knitting in which she made baby blankets for all of her grand nephews and nieces along with many gifts for her family and friends. The family extends thanks to Dr. Wendt and the staff of Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Joseph's for the kind care and extending her life. According to her wishes no services are planned with a celebration of life at a later date.
